Survey Responses

In February 2006, the City Council appointed a 7-member citizen task force to recommend specific policies regarding the City's possible use of eminent domain. The 7-member task force includes a member of the Economic Development Commission, the Planning and Community Design Commission and the Board of Adjustment, as well as four citizen members.

The Olivette City Council has directed the Task Force to review state policies and local practices regarding the use of eminent

domain for economic development purposes in the metropolitan region. To this end, a survey has been circulated to Olivette's

sister municipalities in order to gather relavent information on this issue.

Listed below are links to the survey responses that have been received thus far, as well as a summary of the data.  (Note: This information will be updated as additional responses are received.)
