Race Day

  • Arrive Early! If you plan to pick up your packet on race day you need to arrive by 7:00. Traffic and parking might take a few extra minutes and some of the roads leading into Stacy Park may be closed for the Race.
  • Please bring a food or dry good item to donate to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.  We will be collecting donations Tuesday, Wednesday and Race Day!
  • Remember to pin your race bib on the night before-it’s less likely you’ll forget it- and place it on the front midsection of your shirt
  • Running with a Stroller? Safety for your child, you and the other participants is the most important thing. So please remember to start near the back of the race.
  • Running with a dog? Safety for your pet, you and the other participants is the most important thing. So please remember to start near the back of the race.
  • The timing device is attached to your race number; in order to ensure an accurate time, please do not fold or wrinkle the race number or cover it with a jacket, runner belt, water bottle, or any other item.
  • Safety first, so remember- being first at the start line does not get you a better time. Your time starts when YOU cross the start mat and YOUR time stops when YOU cross the finish line. It does not matter if you are the first or last person across the line.  It is your time that determines your position.
  • Running Courtesy- while participating in the event, don’t run in groups of three or more abreast; wide groups become barriers to other runners. Don’t stop abruptly to drink or to tie your shoelaces-move to the side before stopping. Watch where you spit to avoid hitting other participants. If someone running behind you says, “On your left,” move to your right to let the runner pass. If someone says, “On your right,” move to your left.
  • Day of Registration and Packet Pickup CLOSES at 7:45.
