Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Virtual Run/Walk Event?
A virtual run/walk event is an event that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
How does a Virtual Run/Walk Event actually work?
Participants register on-line, choose your starting line, run/walk your chosen route, and upload your time on the race page!
Does the event take place on a specific date?
Run for the Front Line does not. In fact you can complete your course anytime between April 27 and May 25! Plenty of time to find that perfect race day!
Does the event have suggested courses?
We'll be placing courses on-line, but feel free to find your own. Map My Run is a great app for measuring distance and creating your own course.
Will there be a t-shirt?
Not for this race. We are trying to keep cost low. And with Stay-at-Home orders in place, distribution would be difficult.
How much does Run for the Front Line cost?
$10 per participant - People of all ages are encouraged to participate!
I have family members who live out of town, how can they participate in Run for the Front Line?
Simply have them register, choose a 5k (3.1mile) course where they live, run/walk, and upload their time! Run for the Front Line can be a fun competition even with people living elsewhere!
