Bill #2882 - An Ordinance to amend Article XII Special Permits and Article XIV Off-Street Parking and Loading, being part of Chapter 400 Zoning Regulations of Title IV Land Use of the Olivette Municipal Code, as it relates to shopping centers, food services, and off-street parking. Second Reading and Public Hearing.
Bill # 2882 would:
establish a definition for a shopping center;
through the Special Permit procedures, authorize 20% of a shopping center to be used for food related services;
provide a 15% reduction in the required off-street parking stalls for shopping centers 50,000 square feet or more; and
change how off-street parking is calculated for certain food service establishments.
Bill #2883 - An Ordinance to authorize a Special Permit for a food service establishment at the Olivette Center tenant space addressed as 9616 Olive Boulevard. Second Reading and Public Hearing.
Bill #2883 would authorize the issuance of a Special Permit for a food service establishment in the Olivette Center tenant space addressed as 9616 Olive Boulevard. The food service establishment will be known as The Kickin' Crab whom propose to operate a 100 seat restaurant facility in the 3,204 square foot tenant space formerly occupied by Message Envy.
Bill #2884 - An ordinance to amend the Zoning Map of the City of Olivette to rezone 2.960 acres currently zoned "SR" Single-Family Residential District located within the 13.7 acre Gateway I-170 Redevelopment Area, as adopted in Ordinance 2605, to "M-U" Gateway I-170/Olive Boulevard Mixed-Use Gateway District. First Reading.
Bill #2884 would rezone the residential portions of the Olivette Gateway Center and Locust Lane to MU Mixed Use Gateway District. This would put the full 13.7 acre land area defined in Ordinance 2605 under the MU District zoning designation.
City Attorney Paul Martin will give a verbal report.
