Bill #2892 - An Ordinance Making Appropriations For Current Expenses of the City Government of the City of Olivette For the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2019; Adopting a Certain Budget; and Adopting a Certain Salary Schedule - Second Reading

Consideration of an ordinance to adopt the operating budget for the City of Olivette for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020.

Resolution 2019-175: A Resolution Adopting the Capital Improvement Plan for the City of Olivette for the Ten Years Ending June 30, 2020 Through June 30, 2029

The Council is asked to consider adopting the full Capital Improvement Plan for the ten years ending June 30, 2020 through June 30, 2029.  All plan amounts are non-binding.  Fiscal year 2020 purchases contained in the plan were authorized separately by Ordinance.  The next nine years of anticipated purchases for the following nine fiscal years are also contained in the Plan for consideration and planning purposes.

This Plan adds an additional 5 years of planning from previous updates and marks the fifth update to the capital improvement plan.

Bill #2893 An Ordinance Amending Title II,. Article II, Chapter 210, Section 210.040 Limitation on Number of Cats or Dogs - Second Reading

The Council is asked to hold a second reading and approve a bill that will increase the total of dogs and cats allowed in a household.

Bill #2894 An Ordinance Amending City of Olivette Missouri Municipal Code, Title III, Chapter II, Stop Signs Schedule II-A by Adding a Stop Sign at Enfield Road and Aylesbury Dr - Second Reading

Bill #2895 - An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 2636 of the City of Olivette, Missouri By Revising the City’s Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget to Provide For Funding of Purchase of Stryker PowerLoad System – Second Reading Budget amendment to provide $22,500 in additional expenditure appropriations in the Capital Improvement Fund (Fund 05)

Request to Encumber Funds to Future Period

A listing of individual requested items were originally included with the budgets of fiscal year 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2019 respectively,  These funds are not expected to be spent by the end of the fiscal year, and therefore, a request is made that the council approve a total $713,667 in encumbrances; $219,000 from the General Fund, $264,308 from the Capital Improvements Fund, and $230,359 from the Stormwater/Parks Fund.
