Bill #2900 An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the City to Enter into an Agreement with the Missouri Office of State Courts Administrator and Assessing a Court Automation Fee Second Reading


Bill #2901 - An Ordinance Fixing The Annual Rate Of Tax Levy For 2019 On All Property Within The City Of Olivette, Providing For The Extension Of Said Taxes On The Books Of The Collector By The County Clerk And Providing For The Collection Thereof – First Reading

First reading of an ordinance that will set the 2019 annual rate of tax levies.
Residential Rate of $1.133 vs 2018 rate of $1.243.
Commercial Rate of $1.320 vs 2018 rate of  $1.435.
Personal Property Tax Rate of $1.421 vs 2018 rate of $1.441.
All rates are levied per $100 of valuation.

All rates will have pro forma approval by the State Auditors office based on the most up to date information available.  1st Reading rates are based on the most up to date information from July 2019.  Post Board of Equalization figures released in mid-September will cause a recalculation that most likely will result in rates slightly increasing.

Collections are anticipated to meet budgeted revenue expectations.

Bill #2902 - An ordinance rezoning a certain redevelopment area from "M-U" Gateway I-170/Olive Boulevard Mixed-Use Gateway District to Olivette Gateway Plaza Planned Development District, amending the City's Zoning Map accordingly, adopting a corresponding master development plan, and adopting pertinent land use and zoning regulations. First Reading and public hearing.

Bill #2902 would adopt the City's first Planned Development District for the I-170 Interchange Gateway District Area ("Redevelopment Area").  Entitled as the Olivette Gateway Plaza Planned Development District, Bill #2902 would establish the zoning district, amend the City's zoning map, adopt a master development plan, and establish the conditions for redevelopment for build-out, uses, and signage.

This item is before the City Council for a first reading and Public Hearing.

Approval to Purchase Two (2) Replacement Vehicles for the Olivette Police Department to be Utilized by the Patrol Division

The recently adopted Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 included authorization for replacement of two (2) vehicles for the Olivette Police Department.  These vehicles will be Chevrolet Tahoes and will be utilized by the Patrol Division.

City Attorney Paul Martin will give a verbal report.
