Olivette Participates in No-Shave November

Put down your razor and cancel your hair appointment and join Olivette for No-Shave November!

EFVRznfU8AEvVQRFor November, the Olivette Fire and Police Departments will participate in No-Shave November in honor of an Olivette City employee. No-Shave November donations benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer and St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming (i.e. mustaches, beards, legs) to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow natural and free. The idea is to donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
